Merc announces 2025 Dealer of the Year winners

Mercedes dealer awards
March 6, 2026

Mercedes-Benz Vans UK has recognised top-performing retailers across its network at its annual Dealer of the Year Awards, celebrating achievements in both sales performance and customer service.

The awards ceremony, held on 24 February in London, brought together dealer partners from across the UK to recognise performance in what the manufacturer described as a competitive and evolving van market.

Mercedes dealers were assessed against a series of benchmarks including sales growth, aftersales performance and verified customer satisfaction scores.

In the Best Sales Team category, Euro Commercials took Gold, with City West Country awarded Silver and Vertu Motors (Continental) receiving Bronze.

The Best Customer Service Team award saw Midlands Truck & Van secure Gold, followed by City West Country with Silver and Sandown Surrey and Hampshire taking Bronze.

Iain Forsyth, MD of Mercedes-Benz Vans UK, said the awards highlighted the strength of the brand’s retail network.

“Congratulations to our winners. The standard across the network this year has been outstanding,” he said.

“Our dealers are on the front line every day, backing van drivers, solving problems and keeping businesses moving. These awards reflect the strength of our network and the focus our partners bring to service, operations and commercial performance.”

Mercedes-Benz is also preparing a major overhaul of its van range, with the first of the next generation of models due later this year.

Previewed by a design study called “The Boulder”, the future large van – widely expected to replace the current Sprinter – will be built on a new modular platform strategy.

This combines the electric-first VAN.EA architecture with the combustion-engine VAN.CA platform, allowing both powertrain types to share much of their engineering and production process.

The next generation will also introduce the new Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS), bringing over-the-air software updates, deeper connectivity and closer integration with fleet management systems.

The first model to be launched will be the Mercedes-Benz VLE. It has already been confirmed that the VLE will have rear steering and a 115kWh battery pack, which is set to give it a range of in excess of 350 miles.
