Würth UK, Modul-System, CoolKit, TGS Automotive Group and GM Coachworks named as new converters for Kia PV5
Kia has named its first five UK conversion partners as it looks to bolster the image of its PBV range and entice customers looking for an alternative vehicle platform for conversions.
The first companies to become an approved Kia PBV Conversion Partner are Würth UK, Modul-System, CoolKit, TGS Automotive Group and GM Coachworks.
Approved conversions cover racking, load area protection, temperature-controlled transport, tipper and dropside bodies, as well as wheelchair-accessible vehicles, all of which are available on the PV5 Chassis.

Adding conversion partners is a major step for Kia as it tries to build its reputation amongst van operators beyond only offering a battery-electric panel van.
Würth UK will supply cargo area solutions for the PV5, including flooring, lining kits, extra security locks and racking systems. Kia says many of these can be fitted at port, helping speed up delivery times.
Modul-System will offer more bespoke racking and workplace solutions for the PV5 Cargo and Modul-System’s app can also be integrated into the PV5 infotainment system.
CoolKit will handle chilled, freezer and dual-temperature conversions for the PV5 Cargo, targeting food, pharmaceutical and healthcare operators.
TGS Automotive Group will provide lightweight tipper, dropside and box conversions for the PV5 Chassis. Modular options will also include mesh cages, fall arrest systems and beacons. TGS conversions are planned for launch in Q4 2026 and Kia already claims the vehicles will offer a best-in-class payload.
GM Coachworks will produce a rear-access wheelchair-accessible conversion based on the PV5 Passenger five-seat model, allowing a wheelchair user to travel while retaining the original seating layout.
Conversion work will become even more important as the Kia expands its van line-up beyond the PV5 into the larger PV7 and PV9 models.

The Kia PV7 is due to enter production in the second half of 2027, while the Kia PV9 is planned for 2029.
