The LEVC VN5 will be available with official internal racking after Sortimo was revealed as a new conversion partner for the London taxi-based electric van.
Sortimo’s SR5 van shelving has been customised to fit into the LEVC VN5 with folding racking, drawers, roof racks and load boxes all available. Customers be able to specify their ideal van storage options with the mySortimo the online configurator tool and be able to get vehicle decals created.
The move strengthens LEVC’s appeal to trades and urban delivery operators, where efficient load access and weight management are critical. As an officially approved partner, Sortimo’s installations will be covered under LEVC’s vehicle warranty, offering added reassurance to fleet buyers.

The VN5 is positioned primarily at last-mile and service fleets operating in low-emission zones, with LEVC increasingly focusing on conversion-ready solutions to broaden the van’s commercial appeal.
LEVC stands for the London Electric Vehicle Company - a British automotive manufacturer best known for producing the modern electric black cab.
It was formerly known as The London Taxi Company before being rebranded as LEVC in 2017. LEVC is wholly owned by the Chinese automotive group Geely, the same company behind Volvo, Lotus and Farizon Auto.
The LEVC VN5 is a plug-in hybrid electric van. It uses LEVC’s eCity range-extender technology, with an electric motor powered by a 31kWh battery with a pure electric range of around 58–73 miles.
The VN5 has a load area of about 5.5m³ and a payload of up to around 830kg.
