Delivan dimensions

The Delivan is one of the newest names in the medium and large van sector and is part of the raft of products being launched by Chery, we're going to take a look at the Delivan dimensions and explain a little bit about what we can expect at launch.

Delivan will stand as a separate brand and model, and apparently won't take the Chery name. That's despite it sitting under the Chery corporate structure. So Delivan is the brand, but there's also no real model names, as yet. We're going to look at the Delivan dimensions for the L1H1 models and the L2H3 size vans because those are the ones that Chery (or Delivan) says will be the ones to come to Europe and the UK first. It's a bit weird though, so we're still going to call it the Chery Delivan for now, because without a manufacturer, or a model and just the Delivan brand.... well, it all seems a bit confusing.

As mentioned the Delivan will be offered in two panel van body sizes. There's the compact L1H1 and the longer, high-roof L2H3. The two versions have the same 1,999mm exterior width, but there are substantial differences in overall length, height and cargo capacity.

In this Chery Delivan dimensions guide we'll look at the exact measurements for both panel vans, including exterior length, width and height, internal loadspace dimensions, wheelbase, loading height and cargo volume. These are the numbers taken directly from the manufacturer at the time of launch in September 2026.

Chery Delivan dimensions overview

Delivan ranges from 5m to 5.5m in length depending on whether you have the L1 or L2 model. It has an overal height of just under 2m for the low roof and 2.6m for the much taller H3 van. Both vans are a fraction under 2m wide.

Delivan cargo volumes range from 6.9m3 to a pretty massive 11.6m3, so there's quite a broad difference in the size of the two models. What we're looking at really are the dimensions of a medium van for the L1H1 and a large van size for the L2H3. Essentially, two very different vans.

How long is the Delivan?

The Chery Delivan is 4,995mm long in L1H1 form and 5,495mm long in L2H3 form. That means the long-wheelbase Delivan is exactly 500mm longer overall than the shorter van.

Chery Delivan L1H1 length

The short Chery Delivan L1H1 has an overall length of 4,995mm, or just under five metres. Its wheelbase measures 3,050mm.

Inside the cargo area, the L1H1 has a maximum quoted loadspace length of 2,700mm. The exterior and interior measurements therefore make the L1H1 the more compact of the two Delivan panel vans.

Chery Delivan L2H3 length

The Chery Delivan L2H3 is 5,495mm long, making it 500mm longer than the L1H1. Its wheelbase also increases by 500mm to 3,550mm.

The longer body provides a 3,200mm loadspace length, again exactly 500mm more than the L1H1. For operators choosing between the two, the extra exterior length is therefore matched by an equivalent increase in the quoted cargo-floor length.

How wide is the Delivan?

Both Chery Delivan panel vans are 1,999mm wide without the exterior mirrors. There is no difference in quoted body width between the L1H1 and L2H3.

Chery Delivan exterior width

The Delivan's quoted exterior body width is 1,999mm for both versions. This measurement is specifically stated without mirrors, so it should not be treated as the van's maximum width with its mirrors extended.

Chery Delivan internal width

The maximum quoted cargo-area width is 1,829mm on both the L1H1 and L2H3. Chery's specification sheet does not give a separate width-between-the-wheelarches figure, so 1,829mm should be treated as the stated maximum internal width rather than the clear floor width between the rear wheel housings.

How tall is the Delivan?

Height is one of the biggest differences between the two Chery Delivan panel vans. The L1H1 is 1,995mm high, while the high-roof L2H3 measures 2,600mm high. The L2H3 is therefore 605mm taller.

Chery Delivan L1H1 height

The Delivan L1H1 is 1,995mm tall. Its quoted internal cargo height is 1,440mm.

At just under two metres in overall height, the L1H1 is substantially lower than the L2H3. Operators should still check the actual signed clearance of car parks, height barriers and other restricted entrances before entering.

Chery Delivan L2H3 height

The high-roof Chery Delivan L2H3 measures 2,600mm high, with a quoted 2,040mm internal loadspace height.

Compared with the L1H1, the L2H3 gains 605mm in exterior height and 600mm in internal cargo height. That additional height is a major contributor to the larger van's 11.6m³ load volume.

The Delivan L1H1 cargo area measures 2,700mm long, 1,829mm wide and 1,440mm high. The L2H3 loadspace is 3,200mm long, 1,829mm wide and 2,040mm high.

What is the Chery Delivan load volume?

The Chery Delivan L1H1 has a quoted maximum cargo volume of 6.9m³. The larger L2H3 increases this to 11.6m³, giving it 4.7m³ more quoted load volume.

Both vans have the same 1,829mm maximum internal width, so the L2H3's extra capacity comes from its additional 500mm of load length and 600mm of internal height.

What is the Delivan loading height?

Both Delivan panel vans have a quoted rear floor loading height of 543mm. Despite the difference in body size and roof height, Chery lists the same rear load-floor height for the L1H1 and L2H3.

Delivan wheelbase and turning circle

The L1H1 uses a 3,050mm wheelbase and has a quoted minimum turning diameter of 11.2m. The L2H3 wheelbase is 3,550mm, with a larger 12.8m minimum turning diameter.

Here's a breakdown of the exact dimensions of the Delivan L1H1, the medium size Delivan, which is broadly comparable to other medium sized vans like the E-Transit Custom, Farizon V7E or the Kia PV7.

Chery Delivan L2H3 dimensions

The much larger L2H3 Delivan dimensions make it much closer in size to something like the larger Farizon SV models or even the smaller sizes of traditional large vans like the E-Transit.
