During out test we put a wide range of equipment in the back, from boxes to bags and even some office chairs and sporting equipment.
The Ford Explorer Van actually proved to be surprisingly practical, and that's because although the numbers paint a pretty good picture of its size there's actually a lot you can do with the angles and shape so those spaces above the rear wheelarches.
The optional tray with dividing sections was also particularly helpful, preventing items sliding around during out test. There's also four lashing points in it too.
