International Motors to begin supplying B-ON electric vans

April 18, 2023

International Motors, part of IM Group, has signed a cooperation agreement with B-ON to distribute B–ON’s four-vehicle product lineup of electric vans in the UK.

The new models which includes the MAX and GIGA models will go on sale in the UK later this year and are available in two different trim levels: BOX and PURE.

BOX models have a large cargo box with integrated rear and side step, while GIGA is a chassis cab that gives customers flexibility to mount suitable body types.

International Motors will support distribution of B–ON’s product in (England, Wales, North Ireland and Scotland), including sales and aftersales.

Stefan Krause, Founder, Chairman and CEO of B–ON, said: “Announcing this strategic relationship with International Motors marks an exciting milestone for B–ON in our journey towards widespread electrification of commercial fleets, especially in the UK – such a large and important market for eLCVs. With IM’s well-established network on our side, particularly in cities where electrification is quickly becoming a top priority, we can be the first to offer a low-cost, zero-emission commercial fleet solution for customers.”

B–ON has been producing electric vehicles for fleets since 2017 and has already produced more than 20,000 vehicles. They also combine charging, telematics, service and maintenance and financing into a single service for their customers, in order to simplify the process of electrification.

William Brown, MD of International Motors, said: “Introducing B–ON to IM’s arsenal of automotive brands will further diversify the company, helping us to take the necessary steps required towards a more sustainable future. The addition of B–ON to IML’s commercial vehicle lineup will appeal to a wide range of businesses and expand our potential fleet clientele.”

International Motors and B-ON also intend to partner in other territories within Europe together, the details of which are set to be announced at a later date.
