Isuzu launches new D-Max Steel Edition

March 1, 2025

Isuzu has announced the release of the new limited-edition Isuzu D-Max Steel Edition.

Based on the D-Max V-Cross model, the Steel Edition comes nearly nine months after the Steel Edition was first shown at the CV Show last April.

Production will be limited to 250 units with a starting price of £42,695.

The D-Max Steel Edition gets Steel Grey Mica paint and includes dark grey wheel arch fender flares, rear arch extensions, and roof rails.

It also has a dark grey Isuzu grille emblem and Steel-branded side graphics.

The interior includes Steel embossed headrests, carpet mats, and LED scuff plates, along with illuminated puddle lamps and a tailgate badge.

The vehicle gets a redesigned interior with a new infotainment system, driver display, and updated materials. There's a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with DAB radio, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, and a 7-inch Multi-Information Display.

USB C ports are included for front and rear passengers, with an optional wireless charger available.

Powered by the standard 1.9-litre turbo diesel engine, producing 164PS and 360Nm of torque, it is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Like all D-Max pick-up trucks it has a 3.5-tonne towing capacity and a one-tonne payload.

The vehicle includes Rough Terrain Mode, a 4WD Shift-on-the-Fly system, a rear differential lock, and an 800mm wading depth.

Keyless entry, parking sensors, and a reversing camera are all standard along with Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) like Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Turn Assist, Attention Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Keep Assist, and Autonomous Emergency Braking.

The vehicle has received a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.
