Escape Campers have revealed a new gas-free Renault Trafic for off-grid camping.
The campervan conversion was unveiled at the Camping and Caravan Show at the NEC in Birmingham by Escape Campers, a leading UK campervan converter.
The campervan's design allows all onboard features to operate independently, offering true off-grid capability, with the Renault Trafic conversion having been backed by Renault UK.
The campervan is making its debut at the Camping and Caravan Show, which runs until February 23, 2025. Attendees can find Escape Campers at Stand 1056, Hall 1.
Escape Campers collaborates with Blue Light Services to transform new vans into ready-made, made-to-order conversions.
As a fully approved Renault Van converter, the 3-year/100,000-mile warranty on the base Trafic carries over to the completed conversion.
With more than a decade of experience in Renault conversions, Escape Campers has used the Trafic in the past as a high specification but cost-effective base model.
As a result, the Esacape Campers Renault Trafic camper has a starting price of just £52,995.
Andy Burgess, general sales manager at Escape Campers, said: “Campervan demand has always been very high, but with the new recent movements in the market, there is a gap for other manufacturers to fill. The Renault fits the bill perfectly with its reliability, size and high specification base trim.”
Johnny Fieldhouse, director of Blue Light Services, added: “With the New Renault Trafic being an affordable van, with plenty of space, we believe a campervan conversion is a better fit than ever for it. By demonstrating the camper at the Camping and Caravan Show, we want to tell the country about our story and let people know there is an off-the-shelf off-grid camper conversion you can buy today.”
