New KGM Musso EV to finally make its UK debut

September 13, 2025

KGM Motors UK will unveil the Musso EV pick-up truck in the UK for the first time later this month.

After a false start at the CV Show in April, where the highly anticipated new electric pick-up truck was an amusing no-show, KGM will now reveal the new truck at the SUPBIKERUN in the Lake District.

Taking place at Ullswater Lake, attendees will get a rare opportunity to take part in early test drives of the new zero emission pick-up truck.

Although final specifications has yet to be pinned down, the new KGM Musso EV will have an all-wheel-drive drivetain, as well as an estimated range of up to 290 miles.

It's also expected to have vehicle-to-load functionality allowing equipment to be powered directly from the truck.

KGM says that insights gathered from these early trial drives will help inform the vehicle’s potential development. The company is hoping to get ideas on how potential customers might use an all-electric pick-up.

SUPBIKERUN is the UK’s only adventure triathlon series combining stand-up paddleboarding, cycling, and trail running, and is part of a wider collaboration with KGM in which the Musso Saracen will provide logistics support. There are four unique triathlon venues where KGM will assist the event.

Kevin Griffin, MD at KGM Motors UK, said: “SUPBIKERUN is all about adventure and new experiences, which makes it a fitting environment for participants to test drive the Musso EV for the very first time."

He added: "At this stage, it is about seeing what’s possible for an electric pick-up and engaging with people who will ultimately shape its future.”

Instead of showing the new fully electric Musso pick-up truck at the Birmingham CV Show, KGM launched a new version of its Rexton. The KGM Rexton Commercial was created in response to the changing legislation for the double cab pick-up truck market.
