Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has opened UK order books for the updated Caddy Cargo, with prices starting from £26,145 excluding VAT and first deliveries expected during October.
The 2027 model-year update brings a substantial cabin technology upgrade, led by a new 12.9-inch infotainment display and Digital Cockpit Pro, both of which are now fitted as standard.
Wireless phone charging has been upgraded to 25W across the range, while Volkswagen has increased USB-C charging output and added another USB-C connection in the dashboard. The cabin also gets an illuminated touch slider for temperature adjustment, revised trim finishes and new seat upholstery.
Driver assistance has been updated too, with enhanced Travel Assist gaining assisted lane-change functionality and revisions to Emergency Assist.

Outside, the Caddy gets an updated front bumper and four additional paint colours for buyers to choose from, with Reed Green Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, Sunset Red Metallic and Grey Brown Metallic.
The Caddy Cargo range consists of Commerce, Commerce Plus and Commerce Pro trims, and there's also short- and long-wheelbase Maxi versions.
Power comes from a choice of either diesel or a plug-in hybrid powertrain, with the latter using a 150PS 1.5 eHybrid drivetrain.
Prices start at £26,145 excluding VAT for the Caddy Cargo Commerce SWB 102PS 2.0 TDI manual. The equivalent Commerce Maxi starts from £27,520 excluding VAT.
Volkswagen is also offering Contract Hire and PCP finance from £339 per month on selected versions and all Caddy Cargo models get VW’s 5+ Promise service and warranty package at no extra cost.
VW also updated the Multivan people carrier recently with many of the same changes as the Caddy.
