Electric vans aren't known for their generous payload capacity but the Farizon SV van weights span a wide range of model sizes which, on paper at least, give it a decent level of productivity.
This guide to the Farizon SV van weights will cover all the things you need to know about this electric van when it hits the scales.
From the kerbweight of the SV, through to the overall payload, this article on the Farizon SV van weights will give you everything from gross vehicles weights through to indivudual axles. More than that, there's also a breakdown of each of the vans from the different Farizon SV dimensions and the models with small, medium and large batteries.
Because the overall weight of a van changes size so much depending on the battery size, we've given a breakdown of each model with its length and height and the available battery. You'll see the overall weight of the van, the weight at which it is plated (gross weight or GVW) and the important payload figure.
The Farizon SV is made by the privately-owned Chinese automotive giant Geely, and is the first van from the manufacturer to hit the UK shores.
While it is made in several different body sizes, it comes in just one gross vehicle weight of 3,500kg which means that unlike some of its larger van competitors that go all the way up to 4.25-tonnes, the SV makes do with the traditional max weight for a large van rather than the increased carry capacity allowed for a large electric van.
But because it has a very compact L1H1 version with a relatively small battery, the overall maximum payload numbers are quite flattering.
Let's take a look at the overall payload of the Farizon SV electric van.
The payload for the Farizon SV ranges from 1035kg to 1350kg depending on the size of the model and its overall length.
The wide range of bodies and batteries means that there's quite a wide range for the overall weight of the SV.
The very lighest SV weighs 2,150kg - this is for the L1H1 with the 67kWh battery. By contrast, the heaviest is 2,465kg which is the L3H3 SV with the largest 106kWh battery.
With three batteries, there's also a lot of weight built into the overall design of the van, but between the smallest and largest battery.
As the small battery is only available on the very smallest van - which is actually more closely matches in size to a medium electric van than a large one - and the biggest 106kWh battery is only available on the very largest, it's difficult to explain how much weight a battery adds for each model.
However, the difference between the smallest battery and the medium battery in the small van is 85kg, while difference in the very largest van with the medium battery and then the largest model is a mere 10kg. Presumably here the additional bulk of the larger vehicle means there's less of a need for heavy battery protection, which is actually where the bulk of the weight of a battery electric vehicle comes form.
Below is a breakdown of the individual models in teh Farizon SV range.
Starting with the short-wheelbase models available with low or standard height roofs.
