In this guide we'll look at Iveco's biggest panel van and give you a breakdown of the Iveco Daily 70C dimensions, as well as the external sizes and internal measurements.
As the largest van in the Daily range there are a lot of different and imporant sizes to know. The Daily 70C is not just a big van, it's also a heavyweight van, with a gross vehicle mass above the regular 3.5-tonne threshold most people are familiar with. That means you need a C1 licence in order to drive it.
For more on what driving licence you need to drive a van, read our guide.
If you're looking for details on the 3.5-tonne version of the Daily then there's a specific guide for the standard Iveco Daily dimensions of the 35S.
The Iveco Daily 70C is the heavy-duty 7-tonne Daily, with twin rear wheels and the highest axle ratings in the range. Although no bigger in size, it's the next step up from the Iveco Daily 50C in terms of weight, but if you want to see the various sizes of the medium-weight version read our Iveco Daily 50C dimensions guide.
As the biggest van, the Iveco Daily 70C is only available with a 4100mm wheelbase and H3 roof height. That makes the range pretty straight forward, because there's only two lengths on that extra-long wheelbase.
That means load volumes for the Daily 70C range from 18m³ to 19.6m³, the latter of which is the largest volume model available.
It's not just about size, though. As mentioned, a 70C is a 7-tonne heavy-duty Daily, designed for high-payload work and specialist body conversions. In some cases, that means a 7-tonne Daily has more payload than a small truck.
In terms of the Iveco Daily 70C size, it exceeds 3m in height for the H3 roof height.

There's just one standard wheelbase of 4100mm for the Iveco Daily 70C, but the big Italian van comes with both standard overhangs and an extended rear overhang, which increases the overall length by 400mm.
That means the long version of the Daily 70C has an overall length of 7.26m, but the extra-long-wheelbase Iveco Daily is 7.66m long.
| Iveco Daily 70C | Wheelbase | Overall length |
|---|---|---|
| 70C | 4100mm | 7264mm |
| 70C | 4100mm (extended) | 7664mm |

All Iveco Dailys have the same overall width. That means that the Daily 70C has an external width of 2m.
| Iveco Daily 70C | Overall width (cab) |
|---|---|
| 70C Van | 2052mm |
With just one roof height to choose from for the 70C the only difference in height is related to the specification of the body.
The extra-long wheelbase Daily, having a greater weight, means that the van sits slightly lower.
As a result the Daily 70C height ranges from 3,041mm to 3,054mm.
| Iveco Daily 70C | Roof | Overall height |
|---|---|---|
| 70C | H3 | 3041–3054mm |
It's the only thing in the Daily 70C range that is actually variable, as the length is determined by how big the rear overhang is.
The standard LWB (long wheelbase) Daily has a 4.68m length, while the EWLB (extra long wheelbase) Daily 70C has a 5.13m overall length.
| Iveco Daily 70C | Internal length |
|---|---|
| 70C (LWB) | 4680mm |
| 70C (ELWB) | 5125mm |
This means that there's either 18 cubic metres or 19.6 cubic metres.
| Iveco Daily 70C | Volume |
|---|---|
| LWB 4100WB H3 | 18m³ |
| ELWB 4100WB Extended H3 | 19.6m³ |

The Iveco Daily 70C is up to 3054mm in hieght for the H3 roof van.
Internally, the H3 Daily 70C has a height of 2100mm.
