Citroën is launching a limited-edition model of the Ami with just 40 examples destined for the UK.
The My Ami Buggy uses the same platform as the Citroen Ami passenger car and Citroen Ami Cargo van and is a 100% ëlectric quadricycle. Just 1,000 examples will be sold worldwide with UK models priced at £10,495.
The first limited run of the My Ami Buggy was exclusive to France and sold out in just 18 minutes for the 50 units.
My Ami Buggy has a 5.4kWh battery giving it a 46 mile range. A full charge can be completed in just four hours. Top speed is limited to just 28mph.
The Ami Buggy gets a unique Khaki exterior colour, and black protective elements including reinforced bumpers, skid plates, headlamp surrounds, wheel arch extensions, and a rear spoiler.
There are also yellow colour accents in the exterior and the interior, with embossed yellow on the front panel and arrows on the wheel arches. It also gets yellow interior storage bins, door opening straps, bag hooks, and the carpet and seat stitching.
My Ami Buggy also gets removable plastic covers door covers and a black waterproof fabric roof. For warmer days, the roof and door covers can rolled back or removed entirely. The door and roof frames have been designed to integrate storage space for the roof and plastic weather protection.
Infotainment comes courtesy of an Ultimate Ears Boom lightweight Bluetooth speaker. It has been designed to fit nearly into the dashboard and is waterproof with a 15-hour battery life.
