Isuzu UK has launched a new national campaign offering customers a free upgrade to the automatic transmission version of its flagship D-Max V-Cross pickup.

Running until the end of the year, the deal is worth £2,645 (excluding VAT).

The promotion, available across Isuzu’s UK retail network, is supported by a new advertising push spanning digital and physical media which is encouraging motorists to “shift over” to a smoother driving experience with the D-Max V-Cross Automatic.

Neil Scott, national sales manager at Isuzu UK, said the offer builds on the V-Cross’s reputation as a premium yet practical pickup.

“The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is already the standout model in our range, combining refinement with real-world capability,” he said.

“With the new ‘Shift Over’ campaign, we’re giving customers an even better reason to experience the effortless performance of the automatic version. There’s never been a better time to get behind the wheel of a D-Max.”

The D-Max V-Cross remains one of the most versatile pickups on the market, pairing everyday comfort and advanced safety features with the durability and off-road strength Isuzu is known for.

Alongside the campaign, Isuzu continues to offer a range of finance deals and exclusive affinity offers for members of organisations such as the NFU, BASC, NFUS and UFU.

The free automatic upgrade offer is available on new D-Max V-Cross models ordered before 31 December 2025.

Next year Isuzu will launch its full electric pick-up truck the Isuzu D-Max EV.

Prices will start from £59,995 price (excluding VAT) for the base model eDL-40, with the price rising to £62,495 for the V-Cross trim. They'll be no need for an automatic gearbox upgrade, though.

The fully electric 4x4 pick-up uses a 140kW dual-motor powertrain, and is paired to a 66.9kWh battery to give an all electric range of 163 miles (263km).

Based on the new D-Max platform, the Isuzu D-Max EV is a re-engineered version with a permanent four-wheel-drive system, with a front motor output of 43kW and a 97kW rear motor.

It also gets a 1-tonne payload, as well as a 3.5-tonne towing capacity.
