KGM Motors UK has been named the Official Passenger Vehicle Partner of the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, in a deal that places the manufacturer’s Rexton SUV centre stage during one of Britain’s busiest summer events calendars.
While the agreement centres on the passenger version of the Rexton alongside the new Actyon Hybrid, it also raises the profile of the Rexton platform that underpins the Rexton Commercial.
The Red Arrows will use a fleet of Rexton SUVs and Actyon Hybrid models to transport personnel, equipment and essential kit as the team travels between more than 60 displays each year across the UK and overseas.
Based at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire, the Red Arrows rely on a support fleet capable of covering significant mileage while carrying people and equipment between events throughout the display season.

Squadron Leader Doug Smith, the Red Arrows’ Chief of Staff, said: “Our display season involves significant planning and constant movement, and reliable vehicles play an important part in keeping the team on schedule. Although the vehicles supplied are passenger models, the partnership shines a spotlight on the wider Rexton line-up, including the Rexton Commercial.
Sharing the same body-on-frame construction and four-wheel-drive underpinnings, the commercial variant is aimed at businesses that need the towing capability and off-road performance of an SUV while benefiting from commercial vehicle taxation.

The partnership also comes at a busy time for KGM’s commercial vehicle business, with the company continuing to expand its LCV line-up alongside the Rexton Commercial, including the recently launched Musso EV pickup and the forthcoming Musso Commercial single cab.
