KGM Motors UK has launched a new two-seat Musso Commercial range, converting its Rebel and Saracen pick-ups into dedicated commercial vehicles with a secure load area behind the front seats.
The conversion adds a full-height fixed mesh bulkhead, heavy-duty rubber cargo mat and rear window security mesh, creating a van-style space for tools and equipment.
KGM says the configuration retains commercial vehicle tax treatment, including eligibility for 100% write-down allowance and standard commercial vehicle Benefit-in-Kind.
The introduction is in response to the HMRC tax changes for pick-up trucks and follows on from other manufacturers including Isuzu and Ford who have launched similar two-seat models.

Power comes from KGM’s 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 202PS and 441Nm of torque, paired with selectable four-wheel drive and low range. Towing capacity remains 3.5 tonnes, while payload is up to 1,205kg.
The Musso’s high gross train weight is one of its key selling points. KGM quotes 6,450kg for manual models and 6,750kg for automatic versions, allowing operators to combine a substantial payload with a heavy trailer.
Kevin Griffin, managing director at KGM Motors UK, said the model had been developed in response to changes in the tax treatment of double-cab and extended-cab pick-ups.
“The new Musso Commercial range has been developed to offer a clear solution,” said Griffin. “By combining a dedicated two-seat conversion with secure load space, standard commercial Benefit-in-Kind and eligibility for 100% write-down allowance, it gives operators an alternative without compromising the capability Musso is known for.”
The conversion is included at no additional cost compared with the equivalent standard Musso model. The Musso Commercial is available now in Rebel and Saracen specifications, priced from £33,980 excluding VAT.
