Small Stellantis vans will get new Plus trim level

January 20, 2025

The small vans in the Citron, Fiat, Peugeot and Vauxhall line-up are to get a new trim level with better connectivity and a more practical cab.

Stellantis Pro One says it has expanded its compact van line-up in response to customer demand.

The ‘Plus’ trim level will feature on the Citroen Berlingo, Fiat Doblo, Peugeot Partner and Vauxhall Combo with an enhanced infotainment system with a 10-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Standard specification for all four vans already includes air conditioning, a six-way adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar adjustment, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, cruise control with speed limiter and steering wheel mounted audio controls.

But the new Plus trim will now add a three-seat bench seat with a load-through bulkhead, improving practicality and increasing load volumes to up to 4.4m3.

There is also an electric park brake on all versions of the small vans, and a wide range of driver assistance and safety features, including rear parking sensors, lane keep assist, intelligent speed assistance, driver attention alert, automatic lights with high beam assist and advanced emergency braking system.

The diesel and electric vans are available in two lengths with either a 52kWh battery and 136PS (100kW) electric motor or a 100PS and 130PS versions of a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine.

The electric vans can travel up to 213 miles on a single charge, according to the WLTP combined cycle.

All vans have space for up to 4.4m3 of cargo space while the electric vans get a best-in-class payload of 781kg, and a towing capacity (braked) of 750kg.

Prices vary slightly between the brands with the Citroen Berlingo Enterprise Plus starting from £21,595, the same price as the Fiat Doblo Plus. The Peugeot Partner Professional Plus is priced from £23,055 and most expensive of all will be the Vauxhall Combo Prime Plus starting at £23,575.
