Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has revealed early design sketches of the next iterations of its Caddy and Multivan as part of a updates across its LCV line-up.
The previews were shown during the Volkswagen Group brand update to the media, during which Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle CEO Stefan Mecha outlined product plans for the coming year.
Mecha showed design visuals for both models which are set to receive styling revisions and interior upgrades aimed at improving day-to-day usability.
The upcoming Caddy will get a redesigned front end along with significant updates to its cabin. The interior is expected to gain larger infotainment displays and simplified controls designed to make the vehicle easier to use in daily working environments.
"The Caddy will receive a new front design and significantly optimised interior solutions. This includes simpler operation via new large infotainment screens, which will noticeably ease our customers' daily routines," Mecha said.

The Multivan is also due to receive similar updates, along with the California camper model, which uses the Multivan platform.
"The same applies to the Multivan with up to eight seats and the Multivan - based California, the best-selling camper in its class. It's this Swiss army knife of our brand, offering space for travelling and living while still fitting in an underground parking. We have carefully refined this successful formula," Mecha added.
Alongside the design previews, Volkswagen confirmed further enhancements across the wider line-up.
Updates are planned for the all-electric VW ID Buzz, which will gain new functionality including vehicle-to-load capability, a “Good Night” package and a dedicated camp mode intended to expand the model’s leisure and camping appeal.
The larger Grand California motorhome has also been upgraded, while Mecha added that its commercial van range will grow with new previously announced plug-in hybrid versions of the Transporter and Caravelle.
The VW Crafter will be offered in a new three-way tipper configuration with a box body loading platform.
VW also plans to expand testing of the fully autonomous ID. Buzz AD into additional markets during 2026.
Also announced on the call were VW Commercial Vehicle's 2025 financial results, which were heavily impacted by tariffs and a slower than expected demand for electric vans.
