Mid-size Renault van gets a styling lift, a bit more kit and a finance deal to match
Renault has given the Trafic a light makeover for UK buyers, launching a new Graphite Edition that adds a bit more style, and plenty of value, to one of the market’s most familiar workhorses.
Available from £37,500 + VAT, the UK-only model is pitched squarely at owner-drivers and small businesses who want their van to do the job without looking like it’s just come off a hire fleet.
Based on the Extra Sport trim, the Graphite Edition adds adaptive cruise control and blind spot warning, bringing a useful bump in driver assistance alongside the existing spec.

Most of the effort, though, has gone into making sure it stands out in a builders’ merchant car park.
Slate Grey paint comes as standard, paired with black 17-inch alloys, a rear spoiler, side steps and Graphite Edition badging.
Inside, there are faux leather seat covers and a few extra branded touches to remind you this isn’t quite a stock van, including "GE" stitching on the seat.
It is available in both short- and long-wheelbase panel van forms, with a choice of Blue dCi 150 manual or Blue dCi 170 automatic powertrains.
It's not just about the spec, though, because buyers can also take advantage of a 48-month 0% APR representative PCP deal, with payments starting from £389 a month.
Renault's new PCP deal on the Trafic pitches it well below the list prices for other popular brands with more than a £100 saving compared to a similarly specified Ford Transit Custom, and cheaper than the Mercedes-Benz Vito.

The Renault Trafic Graphite Edition was unveiled last week at the Birmingham NEC during The CV Show, where Renault also unveiled its mobile service van initiative.
On display alongside the Trafic, Renault's seventh operation mobile service van demonstrated the renewed commitment the French manufacturer has to its customers, introducing renewed dealer and service initiatives to compliment its growing range of vans.

Renault now has one of the most comprehensive range of vans on sale with combustion engine versions of the Renault Kangoo, as well as the Renault Kangoo E-Tech. There's also diesel Trafic vans and diesel and electric versions of the Master.

Later this year Renault will introduce the all-new Renault Trafic E-Tech, using an 800V electric architecture which will allow for rapid charging and a real-world range of more than 250 miles.
In the meantime, Renault UK managing director Adam Wood says the diesel Trafic is going nowhere.
Order books are now open for the Renault Trafic Graphite Edition, with deliveries expected next month.
