Chery Commercial Vehicle (CCV) is the commercial vehicle division of the wider Chery Holding Group, one of China’s largest automotive manufacturers.
Founded in 2001, CCV has historically focused on vans, light trucks and specialist commercial platforms, primarily for the domestic Chinese market and selected global regions. However, it is now positioning itself as a global player, with Europe firmly in its sights, starting with the UK.
Chery Commercial Vehicle is entering the European market under its new DELIVAN brand, which will be its first dedicated overseas commercial vehicle strategy.
The UK has been chosen as the launch market, reflecting its importance as a mature and competitive LCV environment, as well as a testing ground for new fleet technologies. Chery is not just launching new vans, and instead plans to build a broader ecosystem around its vans that include charging, telematics, connected fleets and a full aftersales and warranty support.
At the centre of Chery’s approach is its Future Super Commercial Vehicle (FSCV) strategy.
This, they say, is effectively a rethink of what a commercial vehicle should be, moving away from standalone vans towards integrated, connected systems designed around fleet operations.
FSCV focuses on three key ideas:

DELIVAN or Deli Van, if you're saying it how most people will, is the first mutterings of the complete FSCV strategy.
Rather than a single van, it is structured as a platform with three layers:
This structure is designed to let fleets build solutions around their needs, rather than choosing from fixed vehicle formats.
Chery Commercial Vehicle is one of a growing number of Chinese manufacturers targeting the European LCV sector, leading with a full ecosystem from day one.
There's an emphasis on connectivity, modularity and services. Like the car brands launched with great success by Chery in the UK (Omodo and Jaecoo), it suggests Chery is trying to compete not just with established van manufacturers, but also with newer, tech-led entrants.
