Maxus will showcase its updated 2027 commercial vehicle range alongside new charging technologies and future transport concepts at IAA Transportation in Hannover next month.
The manufacturer will use the show, which takes place from 14 to 20 September, to present its latest range of vans and pick-ups, with diesel, hybrid and fully electric powertrains set to feature on its stand.
Maxus says its model year 2027 line-up will focus on improved functionality, equipment and total cost of ownership for commercial vehicle operators.
Electrification will remain a major theme for the manufacturer, with Maxus planning to demonstrate its latest bidirectional charging technology at the event.

Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), Vehicle-to-Building (V2B) and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) capabilities will be demonstrated, showing how electric commercial vehicle batteries could play a wider role in managing business energy consumption.
Maxus says the technology can be used to reduce peak electricity demand and increase the amount of locally generated solar energy consumed by businesses.
V2L technology also enables operators to use the vehicle’s traction battery as a mobile power source. Maxus will demonstrate applications aimed at tradespeople, including using an electric van to power tools away from a mains electricity supply.
Alongside its production vehicle range, Maxus will use IAA Transportation to provide a glimpse at some of its longer-term commercial vehicle technologies.
An electric heavy-duty truck will be displayed as part of the manufacturer’s zero-emission heavy vehicle offering, while an autonomous transport platform will demonstrate potential applications for highly automated urban and last-mile logistics.
The technology showcase forms part of Maxus' ambition to broaden its activities beyond simply manufacturing commercial vehicles and become a wider mobility and services provider.
Maxus, which is owned by Chinese automotive group SAIC Motor, has established a growing presence in the European light commercial vehicle market, particularly through its range of electric vans.
The company’s current UK commercial vehicle line-up includes models spanning compact electric vans through to large panel vans and pick-ups.
