Chery Commercial Vehicle will launch a new DELIVAN brand with concepts vans at the CV Show
Chery Commercial Vehicle will make its European debut at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show with a new van brand and various concept vehicles.
The Chinese manufacturer, part of the wider Chery Holding Group who make the Omoda and Jaecoo passenger cars, will introduce its new European-focused commercial vehicle brand, DELIVAN, as it sets out its long-term ambitions for the UK van market.
It will launch its new DELIVAN brand with Chery also set to display a series of concept vehicles previewing its future product line-up.
DELIVAN is positioned as a next-generation commercial vehicle proposition, with a focus on electrification, connectivity and efficiency.
The concepts on show will offer an early indication of the brand’s design, technology and platform strategy ahead of a planned European product launch in 2027.
Jolly Yang, vice president at Chery Commercial Vehicle and CEO of DELIVAN, said: “This is a defining moment for Chery Commercial Vehicle as we take our first step into the European market at the Commercial Vehicle Show. Europe represents one of the most advanced and demanding commercial vehicle environments in the world, and it is exactly where we want to demonstrate the strength of our vision, our technology and our long-term commitment.
“The launch of DELIVAN signals the beginning of a new chapter for our business, focused on delivering intelligent, efficient and future-ready mobility solutions tailored to the evolving needs of operators.”
Chery has previously been at the CV Show, when it announced a partnership with B-On in 2024.
The strategic partnership included the formation of a joint venture company in order to launch the new Pelkan electric van.
The focus of the joint venture was to develop, produce, and sell all-electric commercial vehicles, however, the project appears to have become dormant with B-On's plans for a full-scale launch in 2025 failing to materialise.
The agreement was to see B–On build a network for sales, aftersales, and branding in Europe and North America. as well as engineering, design and product development of the Pelkan vans. Chery Commercial Vehicle was to provide the manufacturing base as well as engineering and supply chain support.

All eyes will be on Birmingham to see if the Pelkan project lives on in the Chery vans.
