Chery launches DELIVAN brand in Europe with UK the first market to get new Chinese vans
Chery Commercial Vehicle has launched its new DELIVAN brand in Europe and outlining its strategy for how commercial vehicles are developed and used.
The Chery van debut marks the first overseas rollout of Chinese manufacturer Chery’s Future Super Commercial Vehicle (FSCV) programme, with DELIVAN set to become a full commercial vehicle offering rather than just a traditional van line-up.
Chery, who also make the highly succesful Omoda and Jaecoo passenger cars, is targeting urban logistics, last-mile delivery and fleet operations, with an electric-first approach to light commerical vehicles and is focusing on connected, data-driven vehicles ahead of its launch in the UK next year.
Who is Chery Commercial Vehicle?
Unusually, the UK will be the first market in Europe for the new large electric van, with right-hand-drive models being prioritised over left-hand-drive. Germany will be the next market to follow, later next year.
DELIVAN’s European introduction is not just about vehicles, though, as Chery is positioning the brand as an end-to-end solution, combining vehicles with charging infrastructure, aftersales support, telematics and digital fleet management tools.
That whole vehicle ecosystem approach is becoming increasingly common across new entrants, but Chery is pushing a trio of concept vehicles, each illustrating a different part of the FSCV strategy.
The main ‘intelligent mobility’ show vehicle is designed for high-frequency, short-distance delivery work, targeting e-commerce fleets and last-mile operators.

Alongside it sits a smaller ‘micro-cargo’ concept, aimed at dense urban environments where manoeuvrability and compact dimensions are critical.
At the other end of the spectrum, Chery also revealed a ‘robot-cargo’ concept, exploring autonomous delivery applications in controlled environments such as warehouses, campuses and urban logistics hubs.
Rather than defining the range through conventional vehicle segments, DELIVAN is structured around three layers: PRO, X and I.
DELIVAN PRO forms the core of the offer, focusing on dependable vehicles with strong uptime and service support for everyday fleet use.
DELIVAN X introduces modularity and standardised customisation, allowing vehicles to be configured for different roles without bespoke engineering for each application.
DELIVAN I sits at the top of the stack, bringing in advanced intelligent systems designed to improve productivity and reduce total cost of ownership through data-driven insights.
Chery says this layered approach allows fleets to build solutions around operational needs, rather than selecting from fixed vehicle formats.
The FSCV strategy also places heavy emphasis on connectivity, with vehicles designed to operate as part of a wider digital ecosystem. Real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance and fleet optimisation are all central to the proposition.
DELIVAN’s UK and European rollout will rely on partnerships across logistics, infrastructure and service providers, with Chery stressing the importance of localised operations despite the global platform.
