Farizon has announced two new partnerships to help UK businesses and retail customers make the switch to electric mobility more easily.
The commercial vehicle division of Chinese auto giant Geely, Farizon launched its Farizon SV electric van earlier this year, but has now teamed up with ChargePoint and Hypervolt to provide charging solutions.
ChargePoint will take care of the commercial installations, while Hypervolt will cover home charging solutions. It is hoped that the partnerships will help simplify the transition to EV ownership for both fleet operators and small businesses looking to buy a Farizon SV.
Calum James, general manager of Farizon UK, said the partnerships were a key part of the company’s plan to support customers through electrification.
“We selected ChargePoint and Hypervolt having assessed a number of potential options, and I’m pleased we have partnered with proven industry leaders who share our sustainability vision, provide robust solutions and deliver a professional service,” he said.
The Farizon Auto unveiled the SV at the 2024 CV Show and is one of 9 vans shortlisted for International Van of the Year 2026.
ChargePoint will offer a range of AC and DC charging solutions, including its CP6000 chargers, which will be installed at Farizon’s flagship Park Royal dealership in north London. The system allows customers to top up their vehicles while visiting the showroom and enables overnight charging or rapid turnarounds between shifts for fleets.
ChargePoint’s integrated fleet software platform will also be available to Farizon customers, allowing operators to monitor charging status in real time, manage energy costs and optimise total cost of ownership.
“ChargePoint is committed to making it easy for businesses and drivers to go electric,” said Michael Mass, general manager and senior vice president for Europe at ChargePoint.
“With Farizon, we are delivering comprehensive and reliable charging hardware and software for commercial and fleet customers across the UK,” he added.
For home users, Farizon has partnered with Hypervolt to supply its 7.4kW smart wallbox, which supports dynamic tariff integration and app-based control for convenient domestic charging.
“Team Hypervolt looks forward to building a partnership with Farizon that helps accelerate the transition from ICE to EV, one van and one charger at a time,” said David Woodford, head of partnerships at Hypervolt.
