The Farizon SV price has taken a tumble after the Chinese made van has made it onto the list of models that qualify for the Plug-In Van Grant.
The sometimes lengthy process to get onto the approved Government list, will now enable customers to save £5,000 off the list price of the large electric van.
With a list price of £45,000 the Farizon SV will now have a starting price of £40,000 thanks to the Government Plug-in Van Grant (PiVG). That's for the entry-level L1 H1 van with a 67kWh battery.
The PiVG reduction, however, is available across the range of vans in the Farizon SV line-up, with L1 H2, L2 H2, L2 H3 and L3 H3 configurations.
Kate McLaren, head of marketing and sales operations at Jameel Motors UK, importer for the Farizon range, said: “Businesses and fleets expect more from their electric vans; more practicality, more range, more features, and with lower costs."
"The Farizon SV has set a new benchmark, with its combination of capabilities, performance and unrivalled standard equipment. And now the PiVG qualification makes it exceptional value,” she added.
Farizon Auto was established in 2016 and is the light commercial vehicle arm of Geely.
The Farizon SV is based on the GXA-M modular platform, an electric vehicle architecture developed specifically for commercial vehicles.
As well as pure electric vans, Farizon is said to be exploring the possibility of using green methanol, battery swapping and range extenders for their future models.
Farizon has appllied for more than 2,800 patents around these future powertrain technologies and is invested in becoming a leader in alternative power light commercial vehicles.
Order books for the Farizon SV are open, vans already on the ground ready for customers.
Pricing for the SV is applicable from 12 May 2025, and subject to change.
