Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has introduced a limited-time finance offer on its California campervan range.
The promotion, which runs until 30 June, allows customers to purchase a Caddy California, new California, or Grand California model through a Hire Purchase (HP) agreement with 0% APR.
The offer is available to customers who place an order and have it accepted by Volkswagen Financial Services during June. A minimum deposit of 50% of the vehicle's price is required, and the HP agreement can be for a maximum term of 48 months.
The Caddy California is the smallest in the range and includes a foldout bed, a digital cockpit, a mini-kitchen, and an al fresco dining set.
The New California, gets a pop-up roof, sleeping arrangements for four people, two sliding doors, and a redesigned kitchen area.
The largest model in the line-up, the Grand California, provides sleeping space for up to four people, a fitted kitchen, and a wet room equipped with a shower and toilet.
Representative examples of the Hire Purchase agreements for different models highlight the terms of the offer.
For a Caddy California SWB 1.5 TSI 114PS 6-speed manual with an on-the-road retail cash price of £36,215, a customer deposit of £18,503 would result in 47 monthly payments of £369. The total amount payable would be £35,846.
For the New California Beach Camper 245PS eHybrid 1.5 TSI 6-Speed DSG 4MOTION, which has an on-the-road retail cash price of £71,295, a customer deposit of £35,823 would lead to 47 monthly payments of £739. The total amount payable under this example is £70,556.
A New California 2.0TDI Ocean 7-speed Automatic 150PS, priced at £77,581 on the road, would require a customer deposit of £38,941. This would result in 47 monthly payments of £805, with a total amount payable of £76,776.
The Grand California 600 2.0TDI 177PS FWD 8-speed Automatic 3.5T, with an on-the-road retail cash price of £84,151, requires a customer deposit of £42,439. Monthly payments over 47 months would be £869, and the total amount payable is £83,282.
In all these representative examples, the APR is 0.0%, and there is no option to purchase fee. The offer is subject to availability and credit approval by Volkswagen Financial Services.
