Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is offering up to £1,200 in cashback to customers buying a new electric van during October.
The limited-time EV Cashback Offer runs from 1 to 31 October 2025 and gives buyers up to £100 a month for 12 months towards the purchase of any new Volkswagen electric model.
The promotion covers the ID Buzz passenger vehicle, which is available in 5-, 6- and 7-seat configurations, as well as the Volkswagen ID Buzz Cargo and the all-new Volkswagen e-Transporter panel van. The offer is aimed at businesses and tradespeople who are on the fence about making the switch to a new electric van.
The ID Buzz is arguably the most attractive offer, getting £1200 off the distinctive retro-inspired little van. As a passenger van it's ideal for families but is also practical giving the ID Buzz a 1,200kg towing capacity. The ID Buzz Cargo dimensions mean that it can carry a maximum load volume of up to 3.9m³. and a compact 12.6m turning circle. It's got a modern digital cockpit and comes with different battery sizes and to give the ID Buzz a range of nearly 300 miles.
For those who need extra power and practicality, the new e-Transporter comes with either 136hp or 218hp electric motor options. The e-Transporter has a maximum payload of up to 1,000kg and towing capacity of 2,300kg.
The cashback offer is only available for this month. However, Volkswagen has been rolling out monthly offers throughout the year.
Last month it offered £750 off all Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles as a way of marking 75 years since the iconic Bus went into production. Volkswagen passenger cars have also had a £1500 "grant guarantee" after it was announced there would be a government EV grant, which most vehicles have failed to qualify for the full amount.
