RAM used an equestrian show in Verona to give its one-tonne Rampage pick-up truck its first public outing in Europe, hinting at a possible launch next year.

Designed and built entirely in Brazil, the Rampage marks a new direction for RAM, aiming to bridge the gap between mid-size SUVs and traditional pick-ups with lifestyle-oriented model. If confirmed for Europe, it would represent the brand’s first compact model for the region.

“Bringing Rampage to Europe would mark a bold new chapter for RAM,” said Fabio Catone, head of RAM brand in Europe.

“With its uncompromising design, premium features, and powerful performance, Rampage is more than a compact pick-up - it’s a lifestyle statement. Fieracavalli [equestrian show] is the perfect stage to showcase a vehicle that embodies RAM’s core values of strength, capability, premiumness, and cutting-edge technology.”

Two versions were displayed at the show: the off-road-focused Rebel and the more performance-oriented R/T.

Both measure just over 5m in length and feature full-LED lighting, and a 980-litre load bed.

The R/T version adds sportier detailing, a lower ride height, 19-inch wheels, and a black roof, while the Rebel gets off-road tyres, protective body trim and a higher ground clearance.

On the inside, RAM has upped the ante for a pick-up interior with soft-touch materials, LED ambient lighting, and a 12.3-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There's also a 10.3-inch digital driver display and a Harman Kardon sound system.

Total in-cabin storage exceeds 35 litres, underlining the Rampage’s mix of practicality and premium comfort.

Under the bonnet, the Rampage offers a choice of two powertrains.

The R/T is powered by a 2-litre Hurricane 4 turbo petrol engine producing 272hp and 400Nm of torque, while the Rebel uses a 2.2-litre Multijet turbo diesel with 200hp and 450Nm.

Both come with a nine-speed automatic gearbox, paddle shifters, and permanent 4x4 drive with low-range capability. The petrol version accelerates from 0–62mph in 6.9 seconds, while the diesel variant has a payload of just over a tonne.

Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) are fitted as standard, including adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, and traffic jam assist. Both versions feature seven airbags, automatic emergency braking and hands-off detection technology.

RAM’s presence at Fieracavalli 2025 marks its first official partnership with the event, underscoring its growing engagement with lifestyle and performance communities.

The brand also announced a new collaboration with Scuderia 1918, a leading name in the equestrian world, which will see RAM trucks supporting the team’s activities across Europe.

If greenlit for Europe, the Rampage could open a new chapter for RAM, introducing a premium compact pick-up designed for drivers who want capability without compromise, and a healthy dose of American attitude in a size that suits European roads.
