MAN Truck & Bus is marking a decade of its TGE large van with the launch of a new ‘10 Years Edition’ model.
Available to order now in the UK and other European markets, the anniversary edition combines a selection of premium features into a value-focused package. While specifications will vary by country, every version will feature exclusive ‘10 Years Edition’ badging on the radiator grille and steering wheel.
UK models include a generous level of standard equipment, including LED headlights, a rear-view camera, a 12.9-inch navigation touchscreen, automatic climate control and a comprehensive suite of driver assistance systems.
The MAN TGE made its public debut at the 2016 IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hanover before entering production at MAN’s Września plant in Poland the following year. Since then, it has become an increasingly important part of the manufacturer’s business, with MAN confirming it sold more than 31,000 TGE vans during 2025.

The TGE was developed to give MAN a presence in the 3 to 5.5-tonne gross vehicle weight sector, allowing the manufacturer to offer customers everything from light commercial vehicles through to heavy trucks. Built on the same platform as the Volkswagen Crafter, the TGE has differentiated itself through MAN’s truck dealer network, commercial vehicle expertise and bespoke conversion support.
From launch, the range included panel vans with multiple wheelbases and roof heights, chassis cabs, double-cab chassis and factory-backed bodybuilder solutions. Front-wheel-drive models also benefit from a load height of just under two metres, allowing most users to stand comfortably inside the load area, while rear-wheel-drive variants retain the same loading height despite a slightly raised floor.
The versatility of the platform has been demonstrated throughout its life. During the COVID-19 pandemic, MAN developed mobile diagnostic vehicles based on the TGE to support testing infrastructure, while the company has also expanded into passenger transport with the TGE Coach and TGE Intercity minibuses.

Production passed the 100,000-unit milestone in 2023, underlining the growing popularity of the model across Europe.
More recently, the TGE received one of its biggest updates with the introduction of the ‘Next Level’ model for the 2025 model year. The revised van features a completely new electronic architecture, a redesigned digital cockpit and one of the most comprehensive safety packages in the large van sector.
MAN says the latest TGE now offers 11 advanced driver assistance systems, alongside standard features including tyre pressure monitoring, automatic headlights and wipers, cruise control, keyless start and a multifunction steering wheel. The three-seat cab also benefits from under-seat storage, while wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging and four USB-C ports—including a dedicated connection for a dashcam—have been introduced to improve day-to-day usability.

The digital instrument cluster works alongside the 12.9-inch infotainment system to provide configurable navigation information directly in the driver’s line of sight, while the location of the wireless charging pad has been carefully chosen to discourage drivers from handling their phones while behind the wheel.
Alongside the anniversary model, MAN has also introduced a new Black Lion styling package. Aimed primarily at owner-drivers looking for a more distinctive appearance, it adds a black front grille, side graphics, rear spoiler and exclusive Black Lion badging.
MAN also revealed it is working more closely with a major motorhome converter to offer customers greater access to factory-supported camper conversions.
