Maxus E Deliver 7 revealed as EV line-up increases

April 18, 2023

Maxus has unveiled its latest new electric vehicle in the UK with the announcement of the Maxus eDeliver 7 mid-sized electric van.

The Maxus eDeliver 7 all-electric van joins the Maxus models, the Maxus E Deliver 3 and Maxus eDeliver 9 as the range expands futher having recently added the Maxus T90EV pick-up truck and the Maxus Mifa 9 passenger car.

The new eDeliver 7 gets a choice of two battery sizes, giving an official WLTP-rated range of up to 226 miles (365 km) for the larger battery, and up to 188 miles (303 km) for the smaller battery.

With a bit of weight on board and driving normally (not like the test conditions of the WLTP test cycle) we'd estimate that the real-world range of the eDeliver 7 is around 190 miles (305 km) for the larger battery and 160 miles (257 km) for the smaller battery.

The eDeliver 7 dimensions means it will be available in three size configurations with a short wheelbase and long wheelbase, as well as a high roof options. That means it gets L1 or L2 (standard or long wheelbase) vans with H1 and H2 roof heights

It comes in two different gross vehicle weights (GVW) of 3-tonnes and 3.2-tonnes, which means payload of the eDeliver 7 will be up to 1200kg, while the smallest eDeliver 7 van has a capacity of just 5.9m3 and the largest up to 8.7m3. Load bay access to the cargo area via a sliding nearside door or through twin rear doors which can be swung through 90 degrees, or through 180 degrees.

Power comes from a 150kW electric motor producing 330Nm of torque at its peak which will have power outputs of 76kW or 88kW.

Service intervals are set at two years or 18,000 miles and the warranty lasts for five years or 60,000 miles.
