Renault is to add to its range of converted electric vans with new bodied versions of the Renault Master E-Tech.
Joining the Renault Master E-Tech Luton Low Loader will be a Renault Master E-Tech Dropside, a Renault Master E-Tech Luton box van and a Renault Master E-Tech Tipper. All models are based on the Renault Master E-Tech Chassis Cab which has a 3.5-tonne gross vehicle weight enabling a 1,620kg payload and will be available in a range of body lengths.

The 3.5T Dropside will be made by VFS and has 400mm high aluminium side panels. While the 3.5T Tipper will also come from VFS.
TruckCraft Bodies will produce the Luton box van as well as the Luton low loader.
All vans will have a real world driving range of up to 75 miles with a 33kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Paired to a 57kW motor producing 225Nm of toque, the Master E-Tech will take a full charge from a 7kW wall charger in just six hours.
All models in the new range will come in Renault’s Business trim level which includes automatic headlights and wipers, Hill Start Assist, DAB with Bluetooth and USB, and electric windows. They’re backed up by a three year and 100,000 mile warranty while the battery is covered by a separate five year and 62,000-mile warranty.
Renault changed the naming of its electric van range in April 2021, dropping the ZE (Zero Emissions) label in favour of the new E-Tech brand. This name had previously been used on the Renault car range and will see future electric versions from the French manufacturer adopt the name for the Renault Zoe, Renault Kangoo, Renault Master and eventually an electric version of the Renault Trafic.
