Geely-owned electric van brand adds conversion capability as its UK network expands
Farizon has appointed CPD Bodies as its first UK body conversion specialist, with the Stockton-on-Tees firm also joining the network as a dealer covering the North East.
The move adds conversion capability to Farizon’s growing UK operation, with CPD set to supply converted panel van solutions alongside retail and aftersales support.
CPD will handle vehicle sales, servicing, repairs, parts and technical support for Farizon customers in the region. A dedicated showroom is under development and is expected to open in summer 2026.

The partnership will also see CPD lead on new conversion programmes based on the Farizon SV large van. The first of these, the Good2Go Zero Welfare Van, made its debut at the Commercial Vehicle Show on 21 April.
Based on the SV platform, the welfare van is aimed at construction, utilities and public sector operators, with a specification designed to support on-site teams.
Cathal Doocey, chairman and owner of CPD Bodies, said the agreement aligns with the company’s push into turnkey fleet solutions.
Doocey said: “Our partnership with Farizon forms a key part of our ongoing strategic roadmap to deliver turnkey solutions for fleets that are efficient, effective, and support the wider decarbonisation journey many businesses are working towards. The market-leading versatility and all-electric efficiency of the SV large van is the perfect base for our cutting-edge conversions.”

Their expertise, combined with a dedicated retail and aftersales team, will play an important role in expanding Farizon’s presence and supporting customers across the region,” he said.
