Kia has expanded the PV5 Cargo range with two new body sizes, giving the electric van a broader range of loadspace and payload options.
The new Kia PV5 Cargo L1/H1 and PV5 Cargo L2/H2 made their European debut at the 2026 Commercial Vehicle Show, joining the existing L2/H1 model already on sale in the UK.
The L1/H1 is the shorter version of the PV5 Cargo and is aimed at urban delivery operators, service fleets and trades that want manoeuvrability in a smaller footprint.
It is 200mm shorter than the L2/H1 and offers 4 cubic metres of loadspace. That is 0.4 cubic metres less than the current L2/H1. However, despite being shorter, the smaller van will carry slightly more weight, with payload expected to be up to 800kg.
The L1/H1 will be offered with both the 51.5kWh standard range battery and the 71.2kWh long range battery. Kia estimates a range of up to 400km, although final WLTP homologation is still pending.
The L2/H2 goes in the other direction (pictured, top). It keeps the same 2,255mm load length as the L2/H1 but raises the load height from 1,520mm to 1,815mm.
That increases cargo volume to 5.2 cubic metres, giving the PV5 a carrying capacity normally associated with larger vans. Payload is expected to be around 630kg.
Kia will offer the L2/H2 exclusively with the 71.2kWh long range battery, with expected range of more than 370km (WLTP figures are still to be confirmed).

The L1/H1 (above) is expected to open for orders in July, with first UK deliveries due in a few months. Orders for the L2/H2 are expected to open in Q4 2026, ahead of first UK deliveries in early 2027.
The new models mean the PV5 Cargo range will consist of L1/H1, L2/H1 and L2/H2 versions.
All models still qualify for the higher £5,000 Zero Emission Van Grant because its gross vehicle weight remains above 2.5 tonnes.
