Iveco eJolly van dimensions overview

The eJolly is based on one of Britain's best-selling vans, the Vauxhall Vivaro, so you’re getting a much loved and very suitable van. However it’s really important to know the dimensions of the eJolly before you take the plunge.

The eJolly is available in two lengths, with a standard L1 or SWB eJolly measuring 5m and an L2 or long wheelbase LWB eJolly measuring 5.3m.

There's only one Iveco eJolly height option which means there’s no high roof model, just a standard height eJolly van of up to 1.94m.

The eJolly width is 2.2m excluding the mirrors.

That's the Iveco eJolly size in a nutshell, but keep reading for the exact details of the eJolly van dimensions.

eJolly loadspace length

The length, height and width of the eJolly van are all pretty standard but the internal size of the eJolly gets a bit more complicated.

It has a folding bulkhead hatch which allows longer lengths to go under the passenger seat. A neat little trick which helps keep long times of pipe or trim safe and secure inside the van rather than on the roof.

As there’s a choice of two van lengths, there are two different measurements for the overall maximum length of the eJolly load space which is up to 3.67m in the standard version, and 4.02m in the long version of the eJolly.

The Iveco eJolly's dimensions are dramatically improved with the hatch, making it as possible to carry similar lengths to a large van, but in a medium van.

The large van adds 341mm to the overall length of the eJolly, with most of that increase carried over into the size of the eJolly load area which increases by 320mm for the long wheelbase XL van.

How big is the back of the Iveco eJolly?

Even the smallest Iveco eJolly is quite large with a minimum overall load volume of 5.3m3 which is increased to 5.8m3 when you include the bulkhead hatch.

Door access and apertures

If you can’t get things through the doors then a van is pretty much useless, so the load access is as important as the internal dimensions and the overall size of the eJolly.

The eJolly comes with a single side-load door as standard, which has an aperture of 935mm. This is the size of the opening across the width of the door. It’s wide enough to side-load a Euro pallet.

Other important measurements of the eJolly are the rear doors, which open to 90 degrees as standard to give you an opening of 1282mm.
