New Iveco eJolly medium electric van makes its debut

June 12, 2025

Iveco has expanded its electric vehicle range with the introduction of the new Iveco eJolly, a compact electric van for the city.

Built on a platform shared with the Stellantis range of vans that includes the Citroen E-Dispatch, Peugeot E-Expert and Vauxhall Vivaro Electric, the Iveco eJolly adds a new zero-emission model to the range at a size Iveco has previously ignored.

The eJolly, has a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 2.8 to 3.2 tonnes, and the Iveco eJolly dimensions are for a van that is under 1.9m in height, ensuring it can easily access multi-storey car parks and other height restricted zones.

Power for the electric van comes from a 100kW motor delivering 260Nm of torque. There’s a choice of two battery configurations, with a 49kWh option said to have a claimed range of up to 224km, as well as a 75kWh battery version that extends the range to a claimed 352km.

The van gets rapid charging capabilities at speeds of up to 110kW, that will allow the vehicle to add around 100km of range in just 15 minutes.

Like its new siblings, the eJolly gets a high level of safety equipment to comply with the GSR2 for vans, with Level 2+ Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). It has also been awarded the Euro NCAP Gold safety rating - the equivalent of four stars under the new Euro NCAP star rating scheme.

Inside, drivers get the same Stellantis-made ergonomically designed cabin, with a few familiar Iveco appearances.

Carlotta Mathis, head of strategy and marketing at Iveco, highlighted the strategic importance of the new model: “The introduction of our eJolly, developed in collaboration with Stellantis Pro One, represents a significant milestone in our strategic journey. Together, we are delivering advanced, efficient, and sustainable mobility solutions that create substantial value for our customers.”

While the eJolly targets the city driver, Iveco has also introduced the Iveco eSuperJolly, a larger, zero-emissions van designed for larger more mainstream transport.

The larger sibling to the eJolly van will add greater payload capacity and range over the medium electric van, and also offers an alternative to the Iveco eDaily, which is built on a heavy ladder chassis with expensive modular battery packs.

Deliveries of the Iveco eJolly are scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026 when the Iveco eJolly price will be available.
