Motor Parts Direct (MPD) has taken delivery of more than 300 new Renault Kangoo vans to strengthen its nationwide delivery fleet.
The veans will help meet the rising demand from garages and workshops across the UK.
The new Renault Kangoo vans will support daily deliveries from MPD’s 184 branches to independent and franchised garages, ensuring customers receive parts quickly to keep vehicles on the road.
Supplied through Pentagon Corporate Fleet, part of Motus Group UK, the deal will see around 240 vans replace existing vehicles, with the remainder expanding MPD’s growing network.
Once deliveries are complete in June 2026, Renault light commercial vehicle models will make up more than a third of MPD’s operational fleet.
All vans have been specified in Advance trim, which includes an 8-inch touchscreen with Easy Link display, Bluetooth, DAB radio, and smartphone integration via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
They are powered by Renault’s Euro 6D dCi 95 diesel engine paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and are expected to cover around 110 miles a day over a four-year, 120,000-mile replacement cycle.
The Renault Kangoo is availble with petrol or diesel engines or as a and fully electric Kangoo E-Tech.
The Renault Kangoo dimensions means it has a load volumes of up to 4.2m³ and payloads of nearly 1,000kg.
MPD’s fleet operations and asset manager, Keith Rylance, said: “Our drivers cover thousands of miles every day to ensure our customers get the parts they need quickly and reliably,” he said. “The Renault Kangoo offers the right balance of total cost of ownership, specification and support, which makes it an excellent fit for our business.”
Renault UK’s Head of Fleet, Justin Costello, added: “Motor Parts Direct’s decision to expand its fleet with 300 Kangoo vans underlines the model’s reputation for practicality, efficiency and dependability in demanding business environments."
