Farizon has expanded its all-electric SV line-up with two new variants, a large-capacity taxi and a multi-passenger Combi.

The new models are said to highlight the flexibility of the Farizon Auto’s modular GXA-M platform.

The models were unveiled at the Hong Kong Auto Expo, with the new Farizon SV Taxi already attracting major interest.

Big Bee Taxi, a leading Hong Kong operator, has placed an order for 1,000 vehicles, marking the model’s commercial debut in the city.

The seven-seat SV Taxi has been designed with passenger comfort and practicality in mind. It features a 900mm power sliding side door, aided by a hidden B-pillar and a low 408mm step height for easier boarding.

The Farizon SV dimensions means that its double doors open to reveal a 1,780mm loading width and a 630-litre luggage compartment, capable of holding up to six large suitcases.

Inside, there are three rows of seating for seven passengers, a 1,340mm cabin height, and a wide central aisle for easy access. Other features include cupholders, a multi-function storage box and USB Type-C charging ports in every row.

The SV Combi is aimed at fleet operators needing space for both passengers and equipment.

Available with five or six seats, theres also 3.8m³ cargo capcity in the L1 (5m) version and 5m³ in the L2 (5.5m) model.

Like the taxi, it benefits from the hidden B-pillar and low 520mm platform height, designed to make loading and passenger access easier.

Both vehicles are built on Farizon’s GXA-M architecture, which uses Cell-to-Pack (CTP-S) battery technology to improve rigidity by 20% compared with traditional modular designs.

The SV Taxi has a claimed driving range of up to 370km, while the SV Combi can travel up to 319km on a full charge.

Both models support rapid charging, reaching 20–80% in just 30 minutes.

Although the new models are currently exclusive to the Chinese market, Farizon says it is evaluating opportunities to bring them to other regions, including Europe.

Farizon Auto recently told Van Reviewer that it will expaned its current range to include a new small van, as well as a chassis cab version of the SV van.
