The Renault Master has followed on from its success as the International Van of the Year by being named the Van of the Year by What Van? magazine.
The fourth-generation Renault Master was also named as the Large Van of the Year at the ceremony held today at the London Bankside Hilton.
The Awards celebrate the best vehicles and products in all the key market segments, as well as the businesses and individuals that have made exceptional contributions to the light commercial community.
The new Renault Master and Renault Master E-Tech have been completely redesigned, with a new chassis and design. The body has been streamlined to make it much more aerodynamic, and for the large electric van new motors and batteries have been added.
Speaking at the ceremony, editor James Dallas said: “Renault has upped its game with the new Master, which has raised the bar for efficiency, practicality and refinement. This outstanding large van has enjoyed a stellar year, being crowned International Van of the Year and now winning the overall What Van? Van of the Year Award.”
Adam Wood, Managing Director and Country Head Renault Group UK, said: “These awards prove that our latest Renault Master is stronger and more capable than ever. With a choice of powertrains – including 100% electric – New Master is cited consistently by industry experts as the new benchmark in a highly competitive sector.”
