Peugeot E-Partner review (2024)

Overall Rating: 7/10
Peugeot e Partner0001

The smallest model in PEUGEOT’s e-LCV line-up and the best-selling small electric van in the UK, the new E-PARTNER features an updated design, new technologies, and an increased all-electric range of up to 205 miles (WLTP).

The E-PARTNER’s new, more alluring design features an updated front end with a new radiator grille featuring the PEUGEOT shield at its centre. Entry-level PROFESSIONAL trim includes new headlights featuring the brand’s iconic three-claw light signature, which are upgraded to LEDs on the ASPHALT trim. The new E-PARTNER’s design is enhanced further on ASPHALT models with body-colour bumpers and door handles, as well as 16-inch wheel trims.

Inside, the PROFESSIONAL trim includes a smartphone station with DAB radio, Bluetooth® and two USB connections. On ASPHALT trim, the innovative PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® is available with a new 10-inch high-definition touchscreen featuring TomTom® 3D Connected Navigation, while key driving information is displayed in a 10-inch digital instrument cluster. For greater practicality, ASPHALT models are also fitted with a load-through bulkhead and dual passenger bench with under-seat storage.

The new E-PARTNER comes with a wide array of driving aids as standard, including driver attention alert, advanced emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, cruise control and rear parking sensors. The ASPHALT trim adds even more assistance features, such as Dynamic Surround View. This unique system includes two cameras providing a clear digital view of the rear and passenger side of the E-PARTNER, which would otherwise be difficult to see on a panel van. Dynamic Surround View also includes blind spot alert, flankguard detection and a panoramic reversing camera.

The new PEUGEOT E-PARTNER is powered by an electric motor producing 136hp and 270Nm of torque coupled with a 52kWh* battery. Thanks to improvements in the vehicle's overall efficiency, the new E-PARTNER offers an increased range of up to 205 miles (WLTP).

To optimise range, the new E-PARTNER features a regenerative braking system that can be activated at three different levels using steering wheel paddles.

The underfloor installation of the batteries ensures no compromise in load volume. The E-PARTNER’s useful volume is up to 4.4m3, while the payload of 780kg and towable weight of 750kg are benchmarks in the segment.

With a 7.4kW onboard charger and, as an option, an 11kW three-phase charger, the E-PARTNER enables efficient charging whatever the available infrastructure. Estimated charging times are as follows:

  • 100kW DC charger: 30 minutes (recharging from 0 to 80%)
  • 11kW AC charger: full recharge with the 11kW onboard charger in 5 hours
  • 7.4kW AC charger: full charge with the 7.4kW onboard charger in 7.5 hours

To meet the needs of all professionals, the new PEUGEOT E-PARTNER is available in two sizes: Standard Van (4.40m) with a standard passenger compartment (up to 3 seats) or Long Van (4.75m), available with a standard or extended passenger compartment (up to 5 seats).

In addition to the new E-PARTNER, PEUGEOT offers a wide range of PARTNERs equipped with 100hp or 130hp BlueHDi diesel engines. The latter can be combined with an EAT8 8-speed automatic transmission.

The new PARTNER is available from £20,255 (excl. VAT), with E-PARTNER starting from £26,205 (Basic price after PiVG).
