The front axle of the Toyota Proace City Electric is capable of taking 1200kg. This is the maximum plated weight for the front axle on all models.
The rear axle of the Toyota Proace City Electric is capable of taking 1400kg. This is the maximum plated weight for the rear axle on all models.
Not all electric vans are capable of towing, but the Proace City Electric is. The towing capacity for the Proace City Electric is 750kg for an unbraked trailer, and also 750kg for a braked trailer.

In order to ensure that the larger (and heavier) Toyota Proace City Electric vans aren't disadvantaged and end up with a smaller payload, Toyota has increased the GVW of some of its vans. The specific GVM varies according to the trim level and the body size, but the Proace City Electric has a range from 2,390kg to 2,410kg.
